What a difference a week makes in terms of the weather – we barely caught any sun last week, as we were dogged by several consecutive low pressure systems. This week, we’ve seen a shift in the jet stream and more high pressure in the picture, resulting in warmer temperatures and dry weather.
Rest of today – partly sunny with a small chance for showers later in the day and high temperatures in the mid-60s.
Wednesday – sunny, with high pressure in control, warm with temperatures in the low-mid 70s.
Thursday – another nice, sunny day, with high temperatures a shade cooler, in the low-70s.
Friday – the next chance for substantial precipitation comes along with a cold front arriving later in the day. Cloudy, with temperatures cooler in the mid-upper 60s.
Sunny but still below average
Temperatures will be much warmer than last week, but we’re still going to be missing the mark for average (around 70ºF) for the next few days.
